Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a STEM field (engineering preferred)
- Experience in developing metrics, data analysis, or performance evaluation in complex engineering settings
- Proven knowledge of System Test and Integration procedures (e.g., test planning, execution, reporting)
- Proficiency in advanced Excel (including Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA/macros)
- Familiarity with SQL/Database (e.g., MS SQL, Oracle) for data extraction
- Experience with Mission Systems capabilities within aircraft platforms
- Exposure to scripting/automation (e.g., Python, R, or similar)
- Understanding of program management metrics (e.g., Earned Value Management, risk dashboards)
- Experience collaborating with various engineering teams within LM Aero F-35 projects
- Awareness of model-based systems engineering
- Existing F-35 program clearances
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and uphold a comprehensive metric framework for F-35 hardware-in-the-loop, virtual, software-in-the-loop, and mixed-reality labs
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators for test results, system defects, and stability occurrences, ensuring alignment with program objectives
- Oversee the gathering, evaluation, and presentation of lab and test execution data to provide insights to senior leadership
- Collaborate with software, architecture, design, and system-test teams to integrate metric requirements into testing plans and address technical challenges
- Analyze trends to spearhead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing test efficiency, data integrity, and overall program preparedness
