Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in STEM required
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle relevant to quality control
- Familiarity with Airworthiness and Safety standards pertaining to quality
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (C++, Python, Java, C#)
- Experience with quality-related process and product audits
- Understanding of supplier quality controls
- Practical application of Software Quality Engineering principles in Agile, SCRUM, or DevSecOps environments
- Competency in Microsoft Office, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Artifactory, and Cameo
Responsibilities
- Implement the Software Quality Engineering (SWQE) mission to uphold compliance with processes meeting customer and company standards
- Conduct evaluations and audits of processes, products, and suppliers throughout the software development lifecycle
- Perform test verification and validation to ensure the delivery of quality software products
- Collaborate with SWQE management to provide relevant metrics, reports, and schedules
- Develop and deploy standardized software quality procedures and engineering methods
- Identify, communicate, and drive necessary improvements within software development processes
- Travel and work off-shift or weekends as required
