Requirements
Must:
- Demonstrated experience in simulation software development and integration
- Proficient in software development utilizing C++
- Experienced in developing software for Linux Operating Systems
- Bachelors degree in an Engineering or Technical discipline (STEM)
- Proven ability to lead software development teams
- Familiarity with F35 Simulation products including VSim, JADE, and LIDS
- Knowledge of real-time simulation software development and integration
- Experienced in developing on Linux and Real-Time Operating Systems
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis (OOA) and Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles
- Competent in Agile software development methodologies and tools, such as VersionOne and Jira
- Experienced in Continuous Integration (CI) practices and utilization of tools like Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket
- Background in automated testing
- Passionate about aviation, particularly fighter aircraft and airplanes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal abilities along with collaboration skills
- High level of self-motivation and a robust work ethic
- Possession of active F-35 program access
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate software for distributed, real-time simulation systems
- Conduct integration and testing of SSS software in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and man-in-the-loop (MIL) environments
- Utilize simulation software engineering principles and leverage existing code bases
- Assist in digital transformation initiatives through advanced software methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams utilizing Agile DevSecOps processes
