Requirements
Must:
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related technical field
- At least 5 years of Software Engineering experience
- Proficient in software design and development using C++ and/or Java
- Capability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance (ship required)
- Familiarity with coding in Java, JavaScript, C++, Python, bash, and other languages in diverse OS environments
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools and technologies, deployment automation, containers, and infrastructure orchestration
- Knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
- Experience transitioning legacy software architecture into service-based or cloud-native systems
- Background in designing or supporting applications that function in both bare metal and cloud-native settings
- Skills in keeping multiple disconnected bare metal servers synchronized regarding Operating Environment and Application Versions
- Proficient with Jira, Git, BitBucket, Crucible, and/or Confluence
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities

- Utilize related development tools and environments in the software creation process
