Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Proficient in software development utilizing C++
- Familiarity with the entire software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, building, and deployment
- Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git
- Experience with software integration and testing
- Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level
- Experience in an Agile development setting (preferred)
- Understanding of containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of shell scripting (preferred)
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, architecture, integration, and validation of high-performance tactical software components
- Develop advanced software solutions for next-generation ship prototypes and mission-critical functions
- Facilitate rapid prototyping of new vessel configurations
- Conduct rigorous evaluation of system performance
- Oversee comprehensive verification processes for combat system functionalities
- Collaborate with the team to tackle complex engineering challenges
