Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Strong understanding of reliability principles, practices, and root cause analysis
- Capability to conduct basic electrical circuit analysis using schematics
- Proven analytical thinker with skills in solving complex issues and attention to detail
- Ability to assess system-level impacts based on component-level data
- Excellent technical writing skills for report preparation and strong verbal communication skills for presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel as necessary
- U.S. citizenship with eligibility to acquire a Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Generate reliability and maintainability predictions for electrical/electronic systems and support equipment
- Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) at both the schematic and interface levels
- Participate in design reviews and present reliability findings to management and clients
- Analyze discrepancy documentation for relevance to the organization on a weekly basis
- Provide reliability support for electronic components, including reviewing drawings and participating in failure review boards
- Collaborate with failure investigation teams and conduct reliability assessments based on findings from flight and ground test failures
- Carry out system-level severity and likelihood assessments for testing trends and defects
