Requirements
Must:
- Ability to develop and analyze technical requirements, allocating functions down to satellite subsystems and/or components
- Experience with MATLAB or other programming languages
- Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance (desired)
- Strong team player with a proven ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of effectively interacting with management and peers
- Experience defining end-to-end performance and functionality of RF payloads and/or subsystems
- Proficient in developing specifications and interface definitions for digitally processed RF payloads
- Experience with defining external interfaces for antennas and RF components
- Background in certifying and delivering RF payloads or subsystems to clients
- Proven track record of executing major milestone reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR)
- Familiarity with AI/ML data analysis techniques
- Programming skills in Python (desired)
Responsibilities
- Conduct payload analysis on top-tier RF payloads within the Global Security portfolio
- Design systems and architecture to determine optimal payload solutions for new program acquisitions
- Participate in system integration and testing to enhance system performance and calibration, ensuring requirements are validated
- Lead anomaly troubleshooting and resolution efforts
- Spearhead deployment and initial performance evaluations for vital government national assets
- Collaborate closely with other RF Engineers, Box and Sub-systems CPEs, leaders, and Subject Matter Experts to contribute to the success of programs in Global Security
- Work in partnership with customers and program leadership to ensure the timely achievement of payload product milestones
- Execute cascade analysis, verification, trades, modeling, calibration, and risk/opportunity analysis, while supporting proposal efforts and conducting post-test analysis of payloads
