Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 4 years in software integration and testing within aerospace, defense, or high-performance cloud settings
- At least 3 years of experience with large-scale AWS systems
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Masters preferred)
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and C++/C#
- Experience with test automation frameworks like pytest, Robot Framework, Cypress, JUnit, etc.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices using GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, specifically Docker and Kubernetes/EKS
- Proficient with AWS services including S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Kinesis, Glue, Athena, SageMaker, CloudWatch, Config, and IAM
- Previous experience with real-time command-and-control (C2) systems requiring sub-second UI latency
- Exposure to AI/ML model testing and monitoring (SageMaker Feature Store)
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of software integration and verification processes to validate our data platforms software stack
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Software Engineer, Lead Hardware Engineer, AWS Infrastructure Architect, DevSecOps Engineer, Data Engineer, and Innovations Team
- Ensure that all software releases are fully integrated, secure, and fulfill performance criteria
- Plan and execute testing and verification strategies for components such as data-lake services, AI/ML pipelines, and command-and-control user interfaces
- Identify and resolve complex integration challenges
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices and methodologies
- Document testing processes and results for future reference and compliance
