Requirements
Must:
- Candidates must hold a Secret security clearance with a recent investigation (within the last 6 years)
- A DoD IAT Level II certification (such as Security+, CySA+, or CCNA) is required before starting
- Experience in IT across Mission Planning, System, or Network administration is necessary
- Background in COMSEC is essential
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to users daily concerning the ALIS product suite
- Execute COMSEC duties and comply with relevant requirements while learning CRO responsibilities
- Aid pilots in Mission Planning and Debriefing while identifying and resolving system deficiencies
- Carry out installation and data updates for the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS)
- Oversee, manage, and monitor associated hardware/software and pilot accounts
- Ensure smooth and secure operation of multi-user computer systems by collaborating with peers, Tier 2 support, and engineers
- Train ALIS Administrators and users on the ALIS system as required
- Handle backups, restorations, and disaster recovery for systems, databases, and network equipment
- Review procedures and gather operational data for analysis
- Coordinate the installation of extranet equipment with local and enterprise communications facilities
