Requirements
Must:
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing defective hardware for anti-submarine warfare systems or related subsystems
- Understanding of all aspects of rack setup and deployment
- Experience in cable engineering support for sonar and radar systems
- Ability to obtain an interim security clearance
- Familiarity with designing custom test racks using commercial test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
- Knowledge in digital circuit/logic design, processor design, and architecture
- Proficiency with cable harness designs using Zuken E3 or similar tools
- Understanding of Analog/power supply, RF, Wireless Communications, and Antenna design theory
- Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies and Agile concepts, particularly using Jira
- Control Account Management (CAM) certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead and ensure compliance with organizational processes including hardware development and product integration from requirements handling to production
- Act as the lead hardware engineer on various initiatives within our organization
- Drive product proposal capture and development activities, ensuring technical guidance and requirement derivation
- Ensure the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work and deliverables in product development while meeting cost and schedule commitments
- Participate in Digital Transformation initiatives and departmental project management
- Assist with new system configurations
- Troubleshoot and repair or replace defective hardware as necessary
