Senior Guidance and Navigation Engineer

- Design, analyze, and simulate spacecraft control systems, focusing on attitude determination and Kalman filtering - Develop and validate GN&C algorithms utilizing MATLAB/Simulink, C++, and Python - Perform hardware-in-the-loop testing and flight software assessments to ensure control performance - Contribute to the development of flight software and auto-code generation to C++ - Conduct jitter and performance analyses for high-precision missions - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mission operators, and clients to integrate GN&C hardware systems - Effectively communicate technical concepts to peers, management, contractors, and clients - Create and maintain simulation models that accurately reflect real-world spacecraft dynamics - Implement and optimize Kalman filters and attitude determination algorithms - Execute testing protocols, document results, and prepare verification reports - Generate and evaluate technical documentation, including requirements specifications and design reviews - Support rapid iteration cycles within a fast-paced, collaborative environment - Provide technical briefings and status updates to stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle
