Requirements
Must:
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fabrication environments such as cable and harness, SMT board fabrication, or maintenance of military design products
- Certification in soldering and harness assembly compliant with MIL STD specifications
- Proficient in fabricating electrical equipment based on blueprints, schematics, and engineering documentation
- Competent in conveying issues (both verbally and in writing) to management or engineers regarding design and process requirements
- Familiarity with software tools and Microsoft Office applications
Responsibilities
- Constructing circuit cards and wiring harnesses based on blueprints and engineering specifications
- Creating wiring harnesses, including connector assembly, disassembly, and hardware installation
- Integrating lower-level assemblies into complete cabinet units for Engineering or Production
- Ensuring adherence to MIL STD soldering and harness certifications for all tasks
- Effectively communicating design or process challenges to supervisors and engineers, both verbally and in writing
- Utilizing software tools (CAD, ERP, etc.) and Microsoft Office to monitor work orders, update project status, and document quality checks
- Conducting quality assurance checks to confirm that each assembly meets operational and safety standards
- Proactively managing workload independently while contributing to the broader team objectives
