Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- At least 4 years of experience as a software engineer
- Proficiency in embedded software programming with skills in C, C++, and Python
- Familiarity with modern software engineering tools and development frameworks (e.g., Git, CMake, gtest)
- Knowledge of software architecture and design principles
- Understanding of state machines, decision trees, and behavioral planning
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, optimize, and integrate software and firmware at the system level
- Develop, review, and test software and firmware for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)
- Engage in the design and support testing of embedded software in a laboratory setting
- Integrate with peripheral equipment including motor controllers, power regulation systems, battery control systems, and sensors
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers to support various autonomy-related programs and projects
