Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a related field (Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant discipline) or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Experience handling large datasets, including extraction, formatting, ingestion/aggregation, or data processing.
- Proven programming experience with C++, Python, or SQL.
- Demonstrated ability to create visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or a similar tool.
- Background in a STEM-related field such as Operations Research, Statistics, Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Management, Decision Sciences, Data Science, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
- Knowledge or experience with Root-Cause Corrective-Action methodologies.
- Previous experience in data analysis and performance investigation within the logistics domain, particularly in supply or maintenance.
- Prior experience in logistics with a U.S. Military background is advantageous.
- Experience in spares determination modeling or inventory analysis; familiarity with Readiness Based Spares (RBS) is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills with an assertive approach to obtaining responses or actions.
- Proficiency in VBA.
- Experience mining data from SAP systems, including inventory movements.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis, possessing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in project management, including cost, schedule, and deadline management.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to assess and strategize for spare parts requirements that ensure mission readiness.
- Analyze large and intricate datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and avenues for process optimization.
- Develop and automate data pipelines and reporting dashboards to streamline analytics and foster informed decision-making.
- Assist with internal planning by monitoring team deliverables and pinpointing risks or opportunities for enhanced performance.
- Provide data-driven insights that facilitate prompt and informed decisions by teams and leadership.
- Propel continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing automation solutions and efficiency enhancements.
- Engage regularly with customers to deliver data insights that resonate with their sustainment needs.
- Stay updated on changing program requirements and incorporate relevant data inputs to refine forecasting models.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document business and technical requirements.
- Standardize and enhance processes through automation and detailed documentation.
