Requirements

Must:
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification such as CompTIA Security+, CySA, CCNA Security, SSCP or GSEC - Experience in IT including networking technologies and virtualized environments - Familiarity with Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administration - Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with presentation abilities - Demonstrable leadership and collaborative skills - Analytical mindset with a track record of solving intricate problems using creativity - Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent - Red Hat Certified System Administrator or Linux+ certification or equivalent - Proficiency in networking technologies like IGMP/multicast, OSPF, EIGRP, and SNMP - Experience with virtualized systems utilizing VMware vSphere - Knowledge of network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark/NPcap - Awareness of Cisco networking equipment, as well as Dell/HP storage solutions and servers - Familiarity with embedded systems such as ASIC or FPGA-based computing - Solid grasp of architecture, design, and security principles - Experience in RF design and troubleshooting - Proficient in using engineering tools like Cameo and 3DX - Capability to interpret electrical schematics - Experience conducting trade studies on potential technical alternatives - Familiarity with Git, Ansible, and basic shell scripting - Proven experience in preparing documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Responsibilities

- Lead a team in designing, assembling, integrating, and maintaining the System Integration Lab (SIL) - Plan network architecture and oversee hardware installation and software integration support - Verify and validate system functionality to ensure compliance with NIST/RMF/JSIG standards - Assist in the preparation of an Authorization to Operate (ATO) package - Tackle complex challenges related to hardware and software systems - Modify and maintain system diagrams, including network architecture and drawing layouts - Manage system integration, testing, and troubleshooting for various hardware/software configurations - Install and oversee equipment in server racks while updating inventory - Establish Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) and Closed-Loop development/test protocols in SIL - Engage in technical exchange meetings and liaise with customers, contributing to various program deliverables - Integrate hardware components from subsystem teams and coordinate with related elements at system and segment levels - Apply engineering principles to devise components and systems per applicable standards and specifications - Update design documentation and adhere to configuration management protocols
