Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience leading design teams
- In-depth knowledge of airframe structure design and analysis
- Proficiency in metallic and composite design methodologies
- Familiarity with CATIA V5 and/or 3DX software
- Strong background in supporting multi-disciplinary system trade studies
- Experience in coordinating with production operations, including fabrication and assembly
- Ability to generate and present technical materials to diverse audiences
- Competence in supporting program planning and proposal development
- Experience with cost estimation and schedule planning
- Familiarity with hypersonic systems and hand stress analysis
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design integration and synthesis of the XR/AGM-158 Flex weapon system
- Collaborate across various disciplines, including aerodynamics, materials, and controls
- Mentor and guide early career professionals
- Participate in and support multi-disciplinary projects and technical teams
- Coordinate with MRB, quality, and supply chain functions
- Develop and present technical documentation for both internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in capture activities related to business advancement and proposals
- Foster communication and teamwork within the organization
