Requirements
Must:
- Experience in satellite operations
- Ability to support 24/7 shift work, including mid shifts
- Capability to work in a restricted area
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
- Proven track record of swiftly resolving complex technical or operational issues, including space system anomalies
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, XML, and systems including Windows, .NET, and UNIX
- Experience in system software and scripting development, web development, system analysis, and software design
- Familiarity with 24x7 operations support and emergency recall of personnel
- Experience in spacecraft anomaly response and resolution
- Strong multitasking abilities, managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of clear and concise interaction with employees, management, and clients
Responsibilities
- Support Space Force operators in spacecraft bus and payload operations
- Plan and schedule mission-critical events for spacecraft operations
- Generate and maintain command plans while providing technical advice during anomaly resolution
- Document and analyze system performance, offering recommendations for optimal operational methods
- Assist with spacecraft commanding and ensure effective execution of command plans
- Schedule and oversee constellation and ground system activities
- Participate in anomaly resolution activities and support launch and early orbit operations
- Monitor the health and performance of the SBIRS satellite constellation through telemetry evaluations
- Respond to satellite anomalies as required
- Perform local travel to the MCSB to execute operational support duties as necessary
