Requirements
Must:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or a solid background in HVAC and building management systems
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, reliability engineering, or a comparable field
- Proven track record in developing and executing Asset Management improvement programs
- Strong understanding of maintenance methodologies, including Preventive, Predictive, and Condition-Based Maintenance
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with proficiency in data interpretation and solution development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and IoT technologies is highly advantageous
- Capable of obtaining and maintaining a US DoD Secret clearance
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
Responsibilities
- Spearheading the development and execution of Asset Management improvement initiatives including:
- Identifying asset criticality and conducting risk assessments
- Performing asset condition audits
- Establishing preventive and condition-based maintenance programs
- Implementing predictive maintenance strategies
- Planning for asset refurbishment and obsolescence
- Leading risk assessments and creating techniques for equipment prioritization
- Advising on improving operational efficiency in areas such as spare parts management and scheduling
- Training staff and enhancing maintenance work efficiency to ensure reliable plant and equipment operations
- Transitioning from time-based maintenance to Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) and Reliability Centered Maintenance
- Exploring, evaluating, and integrating new IoT technologies to assist with CBM initiatives
- Acting as a super user and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the CMMS operation, providing necessary training to administrators and users
- Collaborating with the RMS Enterprise Strategy team to formulate and deliver a strategic maintenance roadmap for the upcoming 2-3 years
