Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in classified satellite systems (e.g., secure communications, mission-critical payloads)
- Proficient in RF systems analysis, including payload performance and link budget modeling
- Experience in the design, development, and integration of space-rated flight hardware such as antennas, receivers, and transmitters
- Must possess a Top Secret security clearance
- Familiarity with system timing (clock signals) and GPS receivers
- Experience leading small technical teams through the design lifecycle, delivering artifacts that meet specifications
- Proven track record in executing RF payload/subsystem test plans
- Competence in RF simulation, modeling, and link budget analysis
- Ability to work collaboratively with subcontractors and interface effectively with customers
- Strong team player demonstrating the capacity to collaborate across functional groups and achieve unified goals
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in the design, development, and integration of advanced radio frequency systems for space applications
- Engage in the complete lifecycle management of RF payloads and subsystems, including Earth-Space Antennas and satellite communications
- Work alongside systems engineering, digital processing, and integration/test teams to deliver high-quality RF solutions
- Participate actively in the testing and validation of RF components and systems
- Drive the creation of technical documents and reports throughout various project milestones
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements during the design and integration phases
