Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related STEM field with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience or a minimum of 4 years of military experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with network devices and their configurations.
- Proficient in a variety of routing protocols (TCP/IP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, Multicast (PIM)) and switching protocols (VLAN, STP, LACP, HSRP, VRRP, VPC).
- Familiar with network analysis tools such as Wireshark.
- DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of employment.
- Capable of acquiring and maintaining a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor network operations for Aegis programs, addressing troubleshooting and integration to maintain a secure and effective network.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of network builds on a quarterly basis.
- Engage in network design and implementation, including the setup and configuration of devices.
- Utilize automation tools and technologies to optimize system deployment processes.
- Assist with customer and corporate events to evaluate future capabilities for the Warfighter.
