Requirements
Must:
- Clearance eligibility to obtain DoD security clearance
- Solid understanding of OSI/TCP
- Familiar with Layer 2 (VLANs, ARP, CDP, trunking) and Layer 3 (IP addressing, routing) concepts
- At least 3 years of experience in planning, constructing, installing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure
- Demonstrable expertise in configuring Cisco switches and routers via CLI
- Proven capability to diagnose network outages and restore service efficiently
- Must possess or be able to obtain a cybersecurity certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain classified network data systems for government environments
- Oversee network administration, operations, and cybersecurity initiatives
- Ensure high-availability infrastructure that meets current and future program requirements
- Collaborate with fellow team members to enhance network security and performance
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance to resolve network issues promptly
