Requirements

Must:
- Active Final Top Secret security clearance is mandatory. - Possession of a DoD 8140/8150 IAT Level II certification such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CISSP, or CASP is required; you must be able to obtain a certification within 60 days if not already held. - Demonstrable experience in network design, development, and testing methodologies. - Solid understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and network traffic analysis. - Practical experience with firewalls including Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto. - Familiarity with UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE tunnels, and TCP/IP network layouts. - Knowledge of multi-vendor routing and switching (Juniper, Cisco) is desirable. - CCNA or JNCIA certification is beneficial. - Experience with TACLANEs and optical transport technology is advantageous. - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio. - Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative agile scrum environment. - Understanding of DoD security standards, STIG compliance, and system accreditation processes. - Exposure to virtualization technologies such as NFV, SD-WAN, VMware, VMware Cloud Foundation, NSX, vSAN, and Aria is preferred. - Familiarity with network automation tools like Ansible is suitable. - Previous engagement with the C2BMC program is a plus.

Responsibilities

- As a primary Network Development Engineer, you will strategize, deploy, integrate, and assess network enhancements across operational locations. - Collaborating within an agile scrum team, youll convert customer requirements and contractual commitments into actionable tasks. - Travel to remote operational sites (e.g., Schriever SFB, Alaska, Guam, Europe) to supervise installations and troubleshoot issues independently. - Keep the program personnel apprised of project status and outcomes.
