Requirements
Must:
- Candidates must possess a Secret security clearance or higher with an investigation completed within the last 6 years
- Completed DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA)
- Experience in IT encompassing system, database, network, or mission planning administration
- Willingness to support an active fighter unit, potentially working at deployed CONUS or OCONUS locations, rotating shifts, and exceeding 40 hours a week, including weekends as needed by mission objectives
- Compliance with the REAL ID Act for security standards regarding identification
- Valid passport required for expats
Responsibilities
- Engage daily with users and ALIS/LM leadership to ensure system integrity
- Conduct maintenance and monitoring of system, database, software, firewalls, and accounts
- Ensure smooth and secure operation of multi-user computer systems by collaborating with peers, Tier 2 support, and engineers
- Reimage laptops and troubleshoot technical issues including account maintenance
- Regularly monitor systems and applications for their availability and performance
- Train ALIS Administrators or Mission Planning Environment Administrators and users on the ALIS system as needed
- Perform COMSEC CRO duties and train others in compliance with these requirements
- Provide support to pilots during Mission Planning and Debrief sessions, addressing and resolving system shortfalls
