Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end software in a microservices or service-oriented architecture within a CI/CD pipeline.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle in a collaborative environment including peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, and defect tracking.
- Knowledge of software testing principles including unit, component, integration, contract, and end-to-end methodologies.
- Proficient in software development with Java, Python, and SQL.
- Experience in creating test plans and strategies for software testing.
- Background in software test automation tools such as Junit, Jacoco, Jest, Selenium, or Cucumber.
- Experience with version control systems like GitLab (or Jenkins) and Bitbucket.
- Understanding of Mission Data File Generation and the Mission Data Update Lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with RF systems operations.
- Familiar with Agile software development methodologies.
- Knowledge of Foreign Military Exploitations (FME).
- Strong technical leadership abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Responsibilities
- Join our MDFR software development team to create software applications that support MDF encryption and deployment tasks.
- Contribute to refining processes for the encryption and release of MDFs while ensuring compliance with Security, Export, and Foreign Disclosure regulations.
- Communicate any potential issues and support root cause analysis as necessary.
- Assist in the deployment of MDFR software, including providing hands-on support for end-user installations and operations.
- Collaborate with a multi-site team to support integration and testing activities.
- Engage in meaningful technical work that spans both software development and operational support for project needs.
