Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end software within a microservice or service-oriented architecture and a CI/CD pipeline
- Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) within a production-oriented software environment
- Experience leading teams or projects
- Strong cross-functional leadership capabilities
- High level of self-motivation and a solid work ethic
- Proficient in leading discussions and resolving software-related technical challenges
- Experience with software testing principles such as unit, component, integration, contract, and end-to-end tests
- Proficient in programming languages including Java, Python, and SQL
- History of creating test plans and strategies for software-level assessments
- Knowledge of software test automation tools like Junit, Jacoco, Jest, Selenium, or Cucumber
- Experience with version control systems such as GitLab or Bitbucket
- Understanding of Mission Data File Generation and the Mission Data Update Lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with RF systems operations
- Background in Agile software development methodologies
- Familiarity with Foreign Military Exploitation (FME)
- Strong technical leadership experience
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
Responsibilities
- Work on the MDFR team to facilitate lab operations by encrypting Mission Data Files (MDFs) for testing activities
- Support lab shifts as necessary and manage MDF encryption that underpins flight test operations
- Help optimize processes related to the encryption and release of MDFs while ensuring compliance with security, export, and foreign disclosure standards
- Communicate any concerns and participate in root cause analysis when needed
- Assist with the deployment of MDFR software as necessary to support operations
- Provide direct support to end-users during installation and operation of software
