Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in Engineering and Integration processes, such as system trade studies, design reviews, and configuration management.
- Experience with Air & Missile Defense (AMD), Strike Weapons, or large-scale weapon systems.
- Familiarity with HWIL lab support and development.
- Background in integrating hardware and software systems across various design disciplines.
- Active or current Secret security clearance.
- Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields including mathematics with a physics focus from an accredited institution.
- Expertise in electrical or mechanical design and integration.
- Experience analyzing subsystem data for compatibility and compliance, identifying risks, and implementing improvements.
- Over 5 years of experience in design, development, integration, or testing within space, missile, or launch systems.
- Demonstrated skill in ensuring the physical and functional compatibility of hardware throughout the program lifecycle.
- Certification as a Principal Engineer (CPE) or Delegate CPE for avionics and/or embedded flight software, with Engineering Material Review Board experience.
- Proficient in CAD tools (I-DEAS, Creo, etc.).
- Proven ability to lead teams effectively without direct authority.
- Knowledge of software design and integration practices.
- Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with C/C++ programming languages.
- Proficiency in Matlab.
- Current or active Top Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and integration of the Programs HWIL.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams for HWIL lab initiatives.
- Integrate various models, simulations, and emulators for launchers and operational centers.
- Support testing and validation activities in the HWIL lab.
- Lead design and development tasks related to HWIL.
