Requirements
Must:
- Solid foundation in mechanical engineering principles, focusing on analysis and design
- Proven experience as a technical lead, manager, or Product Owner of an engineering team
- Active or Current DoD Secret Security Clearance required prior to commencement
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and support to a team of mechanical engineers, including mentorship and coaching to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Assist in the management of budget, schedule, and technical components of the team
- Contribute to staffing initiatives
- Advocate for Strategic Reentry Programs and Mechanical Products Talent Center initiatives, pursuing digital transformation and enhancing processes within the organization
- Execute functional leadership tasks for personnel, including conducting annual performance assessments, managing timecards, and facilitating career development and training
- Collaborate effectively with other engineering disciplines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to the rapidly evolving nature of development programs within tight schedules
- Foster a positive team-oriented culture
