Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field
- At least 7 years of experience in systems or test engineering, with involvement in system design, development, and integration
- Strong technical expertise in system testing for both hardware and software, including planning, design, and execution
- Experience across various testing disciplines, including functional, performance, and security testing
- Familiarity with testing tools and technologies, including test automation frameworks and management tools
- Knowledge in test data management and environment management
- Willingness to travel internationally several times a year to support test events
Responsibilities
- Lead the formulation and implementation of detailed test plans, encompassing test strategies, designs, and scripts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems, software, and hardware engineers, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards
- Create and maintain test documentation, including plans, procedures, and reports
- Oversee a team of test engineers, offering guidance and mentorship to guarantee timely completion of test tasks to a high standard
- Establish and maintain testing environments, including test beds, fixtures, and tools
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to comprehend testing requirements and ensure alignment with their needs
- Analyze testing outcomes, identify defects, and team up with development groups to troubleshoot issues
- Advocate for and implement process enhancements to boost testing efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide technical leadership to junior test engineers, including training and mentorship
- Participate in initiatives aimed at improving test processes, pinpointing areas for enhancement and facilitating changes
