Requirements
Must:
- Experience in installing, operating, and managing hardware environments, including servers, networking, storage, and small board computers
- Proficient in deploying and developing on low SWaP (size, weight, and power) systems
- Familiarity with various IT principles, such as networking, storage, computing, security, and distributed services
- Knowledge of programming and scripting languages, such as Python, Go, and Bash
Responsibilities
- Maintain intricate computing environments designed for training, deployment, and operation of artificial intelligence systems
- Implement and assess cutting-edge AI/ML hardware and architectures
- Develop edge application platforms and oversee fleet management
- Collaborate closely with other AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and data engineers to create hardware solutions
- Coordinate with facilities, central IT, cybersecurity, and network teams to secure edge platforms
- Engage with vendors to represent Lockheed Martins requirements for AI/ML platforms
- Ensure prompt prioritization and resolution of user and technical issues
- Assist teams in identifying edge platforms that align with their program requirements
- Stay informed on emerging AI technologies and trends to enhance AI Factory toolsets and systems
