Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Optics
- Experience with infrared (IR), optics, photonics, computational electromagnetics (CEM), RF, or electromagnetics
- U.S. Citizenship
- Masters degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, or Optics (preferred)
- Proficient in heat transfer, thermodynamics, radiometry, aircraft jet propulsion, atmospheric science, infrared search and track systems, and EO/IR sensors
- Familiar with scripting languages such as csh, bash, python, or Matlab
- Previous experience in low observables (LO), survivability, or susceptibility
- Knowledge of infrared (IR) signature, IR cameras/sensors, radar cross section (RCS)
- Skilled in LO modeling and predictions: Computational Electromagnetics (CEM) for EO/IR
- Experience with LO integration and multi-disciplinary air vehicle systems design
- Understanding of RADAR, RF materials, and RF material measurements
- Experience in the cultivation, pursuit, capture, project or program management, and execution of signature technology IRAD & CRAD projects
- Programming experience with C/C++, Java, Fortran, Matlab, Python
- Proficient in CAD software for model cleanup and meshing
- Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle signature predictions utilizing Unix-based applications, including EO/IR raytrace, Monte Carlo, and CEM tools
- Design, prototype, and test innovative infrared materials, coatings, and hardware components
- Perform laboratory and flight measurements of materials and vehicle signatures, and provide detailed reports
- Develop and sustain algorithms for signature prediction using C++, Java, and Fortran
- Lead cross-functional design teams and represent our program in governmental forums
