Requirements
Must:
- Current Top Secret/SCI clearance
- DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification (Sec+) or higher
- Familiarity with security requirements for multiple vendor operating systems
- Practical experience with industry-standard Information Assurance tools
- Expertise in auditing and investigations
- Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes
- Background in obtaining and maintaining Authority to Connect (ATO)
- Proven ability in implementing advanced technologies within large enterprise settings
- DoD 8140/8570 IAM Level III certification is preferred
- Capability to comprehend configurations of information systems equipment
- Completed Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes successfully
- Proficiency with Graylog or Splunk tools
- Experience working with RHEL and Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with Cisco and/or Juniper networking devices
- A Bachelors degree in a related field, or equivalent experience, with 5 years of relevant professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily security operations of information systems, including both hardware and software
- Act as Media Custodian as directed by the customer
- Conduct technical administration of information systems in alignment with internal and customer security requirements, primarily RMF
- Perform audits on the information systems
- Maintain, monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security incidents
- Record compliance actions in the approved compliance tracking system; create action plans with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) for any non-compliance
- Ensure all systems are managed, maintained, and disposed of per internal security policies and practices
- Maintain documented configuration management for security-relevant software, hardware, and firmware
- Keep all security documentation up-to-date and accessible for authorized personnel
- Maintain records for workstations, software, servers, routers, firewalls, and other related equipment throughout their life cycle
- Assess proposed changes to the information system and inform the ISSM of their security implications
- Support and facilitate information systems security education initiatives
- Engage in internal and external security audits and inspections; execute risk assessments
- Advise the ISSM on technical matters related to information systems security
- Assist in investigating security breaches and report findings to Program Security and Program Managers
- Ensure appropriate protective measures are enacted following incidents or vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with the ISSM and Program Security to manage and execute a formal Information Security Program
- Implement and enforce Information Security Policies and Procedures alongside the ISSM and Program Security
- Review and oversee authorizations for RMF Packages with the ISSM.
