Requirements
Must:
- Final Top Secret Clearance with SCI
- DoD 8570 IAM Level II certification or higher (e.g., CASP CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, or equivalent)
- Proven experience documenting and applying policy and system configurations that meet NIST 800-53 Security Control requirements across all control families
- Ability to interpret requirements for effective implementation of security controls, including Windows, Linux, virtualization, and network infrastructure
- Experience developing and updating RMF artifacts such as the System Security Plan (SSP), Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M), and Security Controls Traceability Matrix (SCTM)
- Capability to conduct continuous monitoring using industry-standard tools like Tenable Nessus, Security Center, Splunk, ELK, ePO
- Experience utilizing DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and configuration standards for system hardening
Responsibilities
- Oversee the information systems security posture to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability in line with various security policies
- Implement and sustain NIST security controls throughout the systems lifecycle
- Serve as the primary advisor on all technical matters related to security of systems in your care
- Develop and maintain the necessary evidence associated with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process
- Collaborate with program management, providing clear guidance on cybersecurity requirements relevant to contracts
- Engage regularly with government Security Control Assessors to ensure compliance
- Consult routinely with the Classified Cyber Security Manager on the design, development, integration, and evaluation of classified information systems
- Act as a key facilitator of continuous monitoring efforts that support RMF compliance
