Requirements
Must:
- Strong background in spacecraft controls design, analysis, simulation, and testing.
- Proficiency with simulation and programming tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, C++, and Python.
- Familiarity with Kalman Filtering and Attitude Determination techniques.
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Post-secondary education or training in a related field is preferred.
- Active Top Secret security clearance is mandatory for consideration.
Desired Skills:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
- Experience in flight software development and auto-coding to C++.
- Knowledge of jitter analysis is highly desired.
- Familiarity with GN&C hardware suites for space applications.
- Previous mission operations experience is a plus.
- Strong ability to operate within a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical issues effectively.
Responsibilities
- Engage in spacecraft controls design, analysis, simulation, and testing tasks.
- Develop and validate guidance, navigation, and control (GN&C) algorithms and flight software.
- Utilize simulation and programming tools, including MATLAB/Simulink, C++, and Python.
- Implement Kalman Filtering and Attitude Determination techniques for mission design.
- Assist with hardware integration and mission operations in a dynamic team environment.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to create robust, flight-proven GN&C solutions.
- Ensure mission success through comprehensive simulation and validation processes.
