Requirements
Must:
- Possess extensive expertise in spacecraft controller design and optimization.
- Proficient in developing and validating performance of simulation models using tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and C++.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge in optical line of sight (LOS) modeling and analysis.
- Specialize in optical LOS jitter analysis for precise pointing of spacecraft.
- Active Top Secret clearance (or Interim) is required prior to start.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with the Guidance, Navigation and Control (GN&C) Manager within the GN&C Talent Center.
- Design and produce hardware, algorithms, and software for spacecraft control systems.
- Address the intricacies of controlling spacecraft in zero-gravity conditions.
- Engage in the analysis of LOS jitter for various satellite bus applications, such as the LM400 and LM2100 series.
- Contribute to disturbance modeling and structural analysis to enhance spacecraft performance.
- Conduct validation and testing to ensure system integrity and effectiveness in operational scenarios.
