Requirements
Must:
- Post-secondary STEM degree with a minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience.
- Willingness to work onsite in a classified environment.
- Proven experience in digital simulation development for infrared sensor systems.
- Advanced proficiency in C++ demonstrated in a professional setting.
- Advanced proficiency in MATLAB or Python demonstrated in a professional setting.
- Strong mathematical abilities in linear algebra, matrix math, statistics, trigonometry, and coordinate transformations.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Active US DoD Secret clearance (preferred).
- Experience in Linux environments (preferred).
- Familiarity with Agile development practices (preferred).
- Background in GNC assignments including algorithm development, vehicle modeling, and real-time system assessments (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design and document model and simulation requirements and architecture.
- Create, verify, and validate complex models and simulations, including missile 6-degree-of-freedom simulations and effects-based simulations.
- Assess system performance in intricate scenarios and environments; verify system and subsystem level requirements.
- Conduct critical studies, analyses, and testing activities.
- Assist with ground and flight test initiatives, including Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) efforts.
- Support program reviews and technical interchange meetings with internal leadership or external customers.
