Requirements
Must:
- Familiarity with GNC subsystem components and their applications
- Proven experience in hardware development, including building, testing, and integration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related engineering field is preferred
- Background in addressing hardware non-conformances and test failures
- Capability to oversee and manage suppliers to meet program requirements
- Proficiency in reviewing analysis, manufacturing, testing, and hardware delivery documentation
- Experience in creating presentations and charts for program leadership and customers
- Familiarity with star tracker technology or other optical hardware
- Knowledge of missile navigation systems
Responsibilities
- Collaborate as a key member of a small engineering team handling various GNC hardware components
- Focus on the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) star tracker hardware through its lifecycle from development to delivery and integration
- Engage with subject matter experts to enhance learning and ensure hardware success
- Work closely with external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers
- Travel for business purposes as required, to support program needs
