Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Experience in real-time, embedded software development including requirements analysis, software design, coding, unit testing, and CSCI integration testing
- Proven track record in managing complex technical systems or programs
- Demonstrated experience leading Agile development teams
- Masters degree in Software Engineering (preferred)
- Proficiency in C++, OOA/OOD, Eclipse IDE, and Atlassian tool suite
- Experience in preparing and delivering briefings for leadership
- Background as a CAM with related tools
- Familiarity with Jira
- Understanding of F35 Architecture
- Experience in Display Development
- Prior experience as a software technical lead, managing schedules and task delegation
- Experience in flight software qualification testing and security/safety certification processes
Responsibilities
- Oversee software development for the Multi-function Display (MFD) and Helmet Mounted Display (HMD)
- Design and transition existing MFD software to new architectures
- Collaborate with other F-35 teams on software integration and flight testing
- Manage and advise mature technical staff while mentoring less experienced engineers
- Provide direction and instruction associated with staff responsibilities
- Handle performance management and talent acquisition for the team to ensure growth and sustainability
