Requirements
Must:
- Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle, Postgres, Mongo, and Redis.
- Experience with SQL and relevant tools such as SQL Developer.
- Ability to support the development of both long-term and short-term requirements for database management and design.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in database design, development, implementation, information storage, retrieval, and data analysis.
- Develop relational and/or object-oriented databases, as well as database parser and loading software.
- Anticipate long-range requirements for database administration and design.
- Create a database structure that integrates with the overall system architecture while considering data volumes, user counts, response times, and security measures.
- Work primarily in the early stages of the system development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to system acceptance testing and Initial Operational Capability (IOC).
- Develop and manage requirements throughout a projects lifecycle, tailored to specific business and IT subject areas.
- Assist in evaluating and analyzing systems for improvements, optimizations, and maintenance efforts.
- Transform a set of requirements and data into functional documents by creating and updating queries, scripts, and macros; manage data into master files using advanced queries and Open Database Connectivity, employing cloud methodologies for storage and retrieval.
