Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a STEM field
- Proven project or technical leadership experience
- Familiarity with software development processes
- Experience in Earned Value Management
- Knowledge of simulation software
- Understanding of software modeling techniques
- Proficient in CI/CD tooling and processes
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Leadership in full life cycle software development processes
- Background in simulation and systems integration labs
- Knowledge of real-time systems, computing, buses, and I/O protocols
- Insight into air system simulation and aircraft hardware/software
- Leadership experience in software development or integration
- Strong technical expertise and background
- Ability to obtain necessary SAP/SAR clearances
- Familiarity with F-35 domain
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 20-30 software engineers focused on F-35 and ADP simulation
- Guide the design, development, integration, testing, and maintenance of simulation software and computing systems
- Oversee recruitment, selection, and training of team members
- Conduct performance assessments and manage work assignments
- Direct salary reviews and recognition/disciplinary actions
- Facilitate the development of software competencies within the team
