Requirements
Must:
- Recent high school graduate (within the last 24 months) able to commit to a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) in Manassas, VA
- Possess a positive attitude and eagerness to learn various new skills and tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in problem-solving
- Familiarity with Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Capability to thrive in both team-oriented and independent work settings
- Motivation and ambition to progress within the engineering field at Lockheed Martin
- Ability to secure a government security clearance
- Access to a facility requiring special permissions
Responsibilities
- Engage in a variety of duties to support the maintenance of existing products, including updating engineering documentation and managing technical data
- Assist in developing and maintaining training materials along with performing mechanical and electrical maintenance on program products
- Provide technical assistance to engineers with tasks such as systems engineering analysis, equipment installations, and integration testing
- Aid in post-installation problem resolution and defect prevention processes
- Support in the compilation of defect or incident reports, executing test procedures, and documenting operational results
- Implement both written and automated testing procedures
- Support enterprise services encompassing computer networking and cyber security, IT system installations, and maintenance
- Manage software licensing activities and respond to FOSS requests
- Ensure compliance with network security protocols
