Requirements
Must:
- Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance
- 3+ years of applying foundational engineering principles and practices
- 3+ years of utilizing engineering documentation standards and practices
- 3+ years of experience with laboratory testing procedures and data recording
- 3+ years of practical experience in wiring, cable fabrication, and wire harness assembly
- Proficiency in interpreting and constructing from schematics, blueprints, or diagrams
- Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma principles in process flows
- Solder certification to J-STD-001, IPC-7711/IPC-7721 (desired)
- Experience with Lockheed Martin engineering drawings (desired)
- Background in Group 1-2 UAV fabrication (desired)
- Experience with flight checkouts under FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification (desired)
- Experience in composite fabrication and rapid prototyping (desired)
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to engineering for various electronics and electromechanical tasks
- Support both engineering and manufacturing teams in a fast-paced setting
- Assemble mechanical and electrical subsystems for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)
- Fabricate wiring harnesses, including connector pinning and de-pinning
- Install mounting hardware as needed
- Assemble drone components and conduct tests and flight operations with built assemblies
- Collaborate with engineers and fabrication team members including fabricators, draftsmen, procurement, and quality inspectors
