Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) field from an accredited institution with 2 years of experience, or a Masters degree with no experience required
- Proficiency in C++ for embedded or systems-level development
- Familiarity with hardware communication protocols such as PCIe, SPI, and I2C
- Experience in creating and configuring embedded Linux images
- Strong analytical skills and debugging expertise at the hardware/software interface
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team setting
- U.S. citizenship is essential, with a capacity to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level
- Willingness to operate in a classified environment
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain C++ code for secure embedded processing applications
- Create low-level software that interacts directly with hardware components and communication protocols
- Work with hardware communication protocols including PCIe, SPI, and I2C
- Generate, configure, and maintain embedded Linux images, which includes kernel configuration and system start-up activities
- Provide support for integration, system start-up, and troubleshooting in laboratory settings
- Uphold and improve CI/CD pipelines for efficient secure software delivery
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, integrate, test, and deliver both prototype and production-ready systems
- Ensure that software solutions comply with stringent standards of security, reliability, performance, and quality
