Requirements
Must:
- Proven ability to design software solutions for intricate challenges
- Experience in embedded programming with C/C++ and Python
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal capabilities and a talent for fostering consensus among colleagues
- Comfort working in an Agile Scrum framework
- Active TS Security Clearance with SCI + CI Poly
- Understanding of embedded systems architectures and testing methodologies
- Experience in integrating complex software systems under high performance and timing constraints
- Familiarity with embedded and/or MPSoC architectures
- Demonstrated use of Agile methodologies in the development, integration, and testing of complex software systems
- Background in programming with C/C++ and Python
- Leadership experience in process improvement initiatives
- Involvement in program lifecycle management from concept to end-of-life phase
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary setting
Responsibilities
- Conduct software testing, integration, support, and debugging activities
- Provide troubleshooting assistance for CI/CD build pipelines
- Facilitate support for virtual development labs and software development workflows
- Participate actively in daily scrums, sprint reviews, and technical demonstrations
- Engage in embedded software development, integration, and/or software testing tasks
- Lead the architectural design and detailed planning of complex CSCs and CSCIs
- Be a key contributor in an Agile development team, participating in Agile Release Planning and Sprint Planning
- Offer guidance and mentorship in Agile practices to a diverse team of software and systems engineers
- Serve as a role model for the team, leading by example
- Utilize considerable freedom in determining methods for assignments
- Independently learn new tools as necessary
- Identify areas for enhancement in existing processes and put new practices into action
