Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Active DoD Final Secret clearance
- Demonstrated experience in embedded real-time C/C++ software development with VxWorks or Linux
- Strong grasp of MIL-STD-1553, serial, I2C, or similar communication protocols
- In-depth understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices
- Previous experience with Control Account Management or Earned Value Management, or similar budget/schedule management experience
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail
- Proficient in agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) using Gitlab and Bitbucket
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software solutions
- Integrate features and algorithms into C/C++ applications
- Plan, execute, and manage software development tasks
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug software addressing business or mission challenges using data processing equipment
- Utilize knowledge of computer hardware and software to create effective programming solutions
- Identify and correct programming errors; produce operating instructions and documentation related to software development
- Perform Control Account Management and Earned Value management, providing oversight for software subcontract management
