Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in developing DSP hardware and real-time software utilizing C++ Object Oriented design and programming.
- Experience in configuration management and change management with tools like Git, ClearCase, ClearQuest, and UCM.
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Familiarity with embedded software design in C and C++ is preferred.
- Knowledge of Linux OS/Kernel is advantageous.
- Experience working with ARM processors is desirable.
- Understanding of digital electronic equipment, including signal generators, oscillators, and spectrum analyzers is a plus.
- Experience with Uboot and data analysis/visualization tools like MATLAB or Python is beneficial.
- Skills in CMake and bash build script automation are favorable.
Responsibilities
- Create FPGA/CPLD designs for signal-processing hardware and related equipment using industry-standard tools.
- Conduct interface simulations, model sensor functionalities, and oversee system integration.
- Convert military documentation and input from domain experts into clear, verifiable hardware requirements.
- Design, simulate, and implement system elements utilizing C++ and MATLAB.
- Develop comprehensive design documentation and maintain configuration records.
- Engage in all stages of the product lifecycle (requirements, design, coding, testing, verification) for various programs.
- Work autonomously while collaborating with software/systems engineers, architects, and project engineering teams.
