Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience and education.
- Over 10 years of professional experience in electronics engineering management.
- Proven track record in high-reliability electronics hardware development.
- Experience with the electronics product lifecycle, including sustainment and production.
- Ability to lead project technical initiatives throughout the engineering lifecycle.
- Strong oral and written communication skills for effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies with an emphasis on Design for Excellence (DfX).
- Background in aerospace electronics design and risk management.
- Previous management experience with direct reports.
- Competence in working within cost and schedule constraints.
Responsibilities
- Lead the electronics engineering team focused on interceptor avionics, including GN&C products and systems.
- Provide manufacturing support and troubleshooting to meet program timelines.
- Oversee all phases of product life cycle, ensuring compliance with Lockheed Martin Space engineering specifications.
- Collaborate with planning, manufacturing, and testing organizations to ensure timely product delivery.
- Mentor and guide team members to foster professional growth and development.
- Develop and implement strategies for improved production processes and efficiencies.
