Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering.
- Familiarity with Systems & Administration, particularly Unix or Linux.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Ansible, bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with at least one team-based project.
- Must obtain a government security clearance as this position is located at a facility requiring special access.
- Experience with network devices and their configuration (desired).
- Knowledge of testing and quality assurance (desired).
- Understanding software containerization concepts (desired).
- Awareness of cybersecurity principles (desired).
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, Linux+, Cisco Certified Network Engineer, or Linux Foundation Certified IT Associate (preferred).
- Exemplary teamwork and communication skills, both verbal and written (preferred).
- Enthusiasm and motivation to tackle new technical challenges in complex engineering scenarios (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to support the Infrastructure, Communications, and Network Engineering initiatives at Lockheed Martin.
- Engage in a cooperative Agile environment, contributing to the entire development lifecycle of products and features.
- Assist in the integration, testing, and documentation of Operating Environment and network components.
