Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in engineering, mathematics, or a science field
- Background in Engineering or Physics
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to lead technical teams to achieve cost, schedule, and performance objectives
- Familiarity with Systems Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Basic knowledge of infrared sensor systems along with their supporting mechanical and optical systems
- Experience in troubleshooting and conducting failure analysis on complex hardware
- Masters degree from an accredited university in a related discipline (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Directing technical teams in the creation of infrared sensor technologies
- Conducting EO/IR analysis and modeling to aid in developing system concepts and verifying designs
- Serving as project engineer or technical lead to plan, track, and manage program activities, timelines, budgets, and earned value
- Overseeing and guiding engineers and technicians on mechanical, electrical, and optical assignments
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and providing technical guidance to support production processes
