Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Science or a related field
- Experience in utilizing stochastic and deterministic data models with a focus on data manipulation and applying mathematical/statistical methods to business challenges
- Must be eligible to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
- Proficiency in a programming language such as Python or R
- Analytical capabilities with experience in databases, data structures, or processing large datasets (e.g., Excel, Access)
Responsibilities
- Assist in the modification and delivery of Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs)
- Apply technical principles of modeling and simulation to assess Performance Based Logistics (PBL) metrics using various tools
- Aid in the coordination and development of problem statements and modeling approaches
- Collaborate with a technical lead to conduct analyses to establish a comprehensive cost-to-performance perspective for Sustainment
- Examine fielded performance to develop solutions for forecasting, root cause analysis, and evaluating potential solutions
- Extract, process, and summarize data from various sources
- Ensure data quality, respond to stakeholder database queries, and resolve data issues promptly
- Analyze extensive datasets to draw valid conclusions and create narrative or visual insights, including dashboards
- Propose solutions for fielded performance challenges focusing on forecasting and corrective action assessments
