Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience conducting cyber risk assessments and enforcing security protocols.
- Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and associated cybersecurity processes.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to excel in a dynamic and high-paced setting.
- Security+ or a comparable certification required within 3 months of employment.
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or Systems Engineering is preferred.
- Previous experience analyzing security reports and addressing vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator and Cisco administration.
- Experience with Security Center/ACAS and Splunk tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cyber risk assessment activities, including vulnerability analyses and solution evaluations.
- Perform cybersecurity testing and evaluation of hardware or software designs to ensure adherence to specified standards and requirements.
- Execute necessary Assessment and Authorization activities as directed by clients.
- Assess and drive mitigation strategies for system security threats throughout the program lifecycle.
- Validate system security requirements and support secure system operations and maintenance.
- Implement security policies to align with Risk Management Framework (RMF) objectives, including routine OS and software updates as well as quarterly STIG reviews.
- Collaborate effectively with other technicians, analysts, and engineers to design security measures, resolve vulnerabilities, and modify security settings of systems or software.
